Contra woke right-wing hippies

In 1979, a year that will live in infamy, jihadists overthrew the government of Iran, and took Americans hostage. A few years later, Iran’s proxy Hezbollah murdered hundreds of Americans in Lebanon. A couple of decades later, a federal judge found that Iran had provided material support for Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

The brutal Iranian dictatorship regularly stages marches calling for death to America. Iran sponsors many of the major terrorist groups throughout the Middle East that threaten all nations. Iran has been America’s active enemy for 46 years. America has never fought back even once, not under Presidents Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, Trump 45, Biden, or Trump 47.

Only one nation has the guts to do what the world should have done decades ago: to disarm and possibly decapitate the Iranian regime. That nation is Israel, and it deserves the world’s thanks.

Instead, the woke right-wing hippies have taken to social media and mass media, expressing their hysterical fear that America will be drawn into a war, although as I observed above, the war already exists; America has refused to defend itself.

“We are not interested in your foreign wars! We are tired of your foreign wars!” they self-righteously proclaim. But as I responded to one of them, jihad is interested in you, and jihad is not tired of you.

Political space is not linear, but circular, as Eric Hoffer might have concluded at the end of his book The True Believer. It looks like this.

There is no practical difference between the extremes at the bottom of the circle. All are totalitarian, imperialist, and genocidal. Their running dogs, like Tucker Qatarlson, happily promote the interests of any enemy of the West. Is he on the right or on the left? It does not make a difference.

I read that the US House of Representatives, with 435 members, just passed a resolution a few days ago condemning anti-Semitism. 33 representatives could not be bothered to vote. Of the remaining 402 representatives, 2 opposed the resolution: Rashida Tlaib (Democrat) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican).

China sponsors the leftist ANTIFA mobs on the left. Russia sponsors the woke MAGA hippies on the right. Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood sponsor the jihadists.

Aristotle wrote that nature abhors a vacuum. That is true in social structure as well as in physics. Your wishful thinking that the world would be peaceful as long as we ignore mortal threats does not change reality. We learned that the hard way on December 7, 1941, after years of destructive isolationism. World War 2 ended up killing tens of millions of people, people whose lives might have been saved had Germany and Japan been confronted earlier.

Israel is not asking for American boots on the ground. Israel is willing to take the risks and do the dirty work of stopping the jihadists, so that the Arab countries and the European Union appeasers can sleep more easily. They are simply asking for the bombers and the bunker-buster bombs so they can fly the missions themselves. It is not asking too much to give them that.

Iran has had the opportunity for diplomacy for 46 years and was never serious. Now it is time to allow the Persians, the true inheritors of King Cyrus, to take back their great country from the mullah fanatics. The Islamic Republic of Iran threatens Israel, the Arabs, and their own people. Free Persia!
