It is always the silly season in politics. How do you know when a politician is lying? If their lips are moving. And if the far left and the far right agree on something, it must be true, right?
The extremes agree that the rationale for the bombing of the Iranian nuclear weapons program is as fraudulent as the rationale for the Iraq war, based on claims of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. “Bush lied, people died” is what our subversive communazi extremist simpletons inform us.
[President] “Bush claimed Iraq had nukes, but they didn’t (just like the claim about Iran)!” This is known as the strawman argument. You argue against a claim that was never made. Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I do not recall President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, Secretary of State Powell, Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld, or anyone else, claim that Iraq had nuclear weapons.
They did say, however, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and in that they were correct. How do I know? Because Iraq used weapons of mass destruction multiple times. Weapons of mass destruction is a large category that includes biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons.
Iraq used chemical weapons multiple times against Iran in their war. But the most infamous Iraqi use of chemical weapons was against their own people, Iraqi Kurds, in Halabja, in 1988. 3200 to 5000 Kurds were murdered. Here are some reminders.
It infuriates me when I hear subversive communazi extremists deny that Iraq ever had weapons of mass destruction. I am relying on the following logical inference: if you used them, you must have had them. President Bush said, “We cannot allow the world’s most dangerous regimes to possess the world’s most dangerous weapons.”
That position has been articulated with respect to Iran by Democrat and Republican politicians for decades. No one should be shocked by the recent American military campaign.
Just a word about the Kurds, since we so rarely discuss them. They are, I believe, the world’s most populous stateless ethnicity, numbering 30-35 million. They follow varied religions, and appear to be friendly to the West. Here is their homeland.
I look forward to an independent Kurdistan.
Too true. Claiming that no WMD's were found in Iraq when you give them months to move them before invading is like drug dealers arguing that no drugs were found in their crack house when the police wait a week to raid after informing them that the raid is coming.
But, but, but AOC says...
She could not give correct change when she was a half-azzed waitress. She is even less competent being the screaming head of the "Leftofascists"!
I Liked her better as a waitress; at least guys could ogle her azz; which now, unfortunately is starting to sag...
