Today is the one-week anniversary of my return home from the hospital, where I had cranial surgery to remove a tumor within my skull. This type of tumor is present in about 20% of the population and is almost always benign. However, it can cause varied problems, including the secretion of unnecessary hormones, and/or the suppression of necessary hormones. I had both of these problems plaguing my life for years, if not decades.
We only discovered the tumor early this year, realizing that it might well have caused ill health for a long time. I struggled with a worsening hormone situation for most of the past year. Work became increasingly difficult. Pharmaceutical interventions were not effective. My studies in holistic health were helpful, but could not dissolve the tumor.
I was fortunate to have my problem discovered at a time when surgery techniques advanced far beyond where they were just a few short years ago. I was walking around the hospital a few hours after waking from anesthesia. I never took a single pain pill. I was brought home safely by my wife in cooperation with some of the best friends I have ever had in my life.
I want to proclaim my gratitude to the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth. Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the universe, Who bestows goodness upon the unworthy, Who has bestowed upon me all good.
Psalm 100: A melody of thanksgiving; shout unto the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; He made us, and we are His, His people, and the flock of His pasture. Enter His courts with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His kindness endures forever, and His faithfulness unto all generations.
Happy to hear that you have recovered Surak. God bless you.
I am very pleased for you and with you and praising God for his blessings.
