A few days ago, I was strolling down Main Street in a small borough nestled within one of America’s most beloved counties. This county is a popular tourist destination, with highly productive farmland and highly productive people, who are conservative and devoutly Christian. The county is one of the safest and nicest in America. Because of its desirability, not only do conservatives enjoy living there; it is also attracting leftists who want to “fix things up” by making this county more like the disasters they created elsewhere.

Not everyone who lives here feels grateful. Some feel very put upon, like the owner of the house whose front is pictured below. The rainbow flag can be seen elsewhere on Main Street, but this is the only place I could find with written messages as well.

The poor dears living at this address live every day with a thrill of vicarious horror that they are living in a society that is EXACTLY LIKE NAZI GERMANY, and TRUMP IS LITERALLY WORSE THAN HITLER. Of course, if their delusional fantasy were true, they would not live to tell the tale. I wonder if they appreciate that their viewpoint constitutes Holocaust denial. (No thanks to Joe Biden, who called all Trump supporters “semi-fascists”.)

I would love to know how the poor dears have suffered. Were their family members murdered? Were they deported to concentration camps? No, but THEY FEAR IT! Fine, that is what psychologists are for. There the poor dears can explore their paranoid delusions.

What about this cutesy “86 47” fad? Is it not a call to violence? I have a simple test. For every form of hatred directed at President Trump, let us imagine the same directed at former President Obama. What would leftists make of “86 44”? I never heard any conservatives say that while Obama was in office, or since. Of course, conservatives are not that type of people, in general: not “semi-fascist”. There are a few dishonorable exceptions, but they are mostly marginalized.

Let us not minimize the suffering going on in America now. It is true that 30 million illegal aliens are facing the end of the gravy train. Big Food and Big Pharma are suffering setbacks in their goals of poisoning the American public. Higher education is being pressured due to their Marxism and anti-Semitism. Immense waste, fraud, and abuse is being purged from the federal budget.

Somehow, that doesn’t bother me too much.
