I think we can safely conclude that Crooks isn’t a true Republican.
Hysteria is the subject of today’s post. Not traditional, ashamed-of-itself hysteria. Rather, self-righteous hysteria.

Cluster B refers to one of the three traditional clusters of personality disorders:
Cluster A (odd or eccentric): paranoid, schizophrenic, schizotypal
Cluster B (dramatic, emotional, or erratic): antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic
Cluster C (anxious or fearful): avoidant, dependent, obsessive-compulsive
In the past, people were ashamed of their mental illnesses. The stigma was unfair, of course, and impeded many people from finding treatment for their illnesses.
Today, we have swung to the opposite extreme. People wear their mental illnesses proudly on their chests. These are the histrionic people with their purple hair, or metal spikes in their noses, like a public-facing high-ranking representative at the college where I teach. “Look at me, I mutilated myself, I am sick, entrust me with your children.” Why are they proud? Isn’t pride a mortal sin? Doesn’t pride go before a fall?
The Cluster B illnesses seem to me to pose the most danger to others, and they are at least partially correlated in practice.
Did you read several months ago about the congressperson who was positively proud about her child’s anxiety crisis? The child is anxious about the alleged imminent end of all life on earth due to global waaarming (now global boiling).
The parent sees it as a point of virtue - a personality marker worth celebrating - that her child is panicking about the right things. There are other things about which to panic, in the left’s view, and to do so is a sign of virtue. Examples include:
“climate denial” (how can one deny climate?)
“election denial” (Republicans in 2020, but what about Democrats in 2016 and 2000?)
“science denial” and “vaccine denial” (science means believe the man in the suit on MSNBC, not actual doctors treating actual patients, or individuals reporting the deaths of their family members)
mask virtue-signaling (wearing a mask while alone in one’s car)
“Islamophobia” (opposition to female genital mutilation, gang rape, and terrorism)
“racism” (judging others according to the content of their character and not the color of their skin)
“sexism” (allowing female athletes to undress in private)
“xenophobia” (alarm about one’s country being invaded by 33 million unvetted non-citizens, often young men carrying the flag of their own country)
Your failure to virtue-signal panic about the approved issues at the approved times is considered proof that you are subhuman, and potentially subject to retaliatory violence. Indeed, a poll in 2021 showed that about half of Democrats supported four penalties for those who did not get the deadly COVID jab: firing; house arrest; loss of custody of children; internment in a concentration camp.
I repeat my accusation from yesterday. Conservative leaders are, by and large, unwilling to call out the destructive evil of the left. Conservatives treat the left as ignorant. By golly, if only they knew the fact that socialism just doesn’t work, then they would reject it!
This thinking represents dangerous ignorance by conservative leaders. Of course socialism works! Why are you assuming that leftists’ goals are the same as yours? The goal of socialism, whether national or international, is to grind down the individual. It works! Leftists are profoundly opposed to everything you hold dear, especially faith and freedom!
I do not want to live in a thoroughly homogeneous society. My studies of international data show that too much homogeneity is as stifling to a society, although in a different way, as too much heterogeneity. The strongest societies are those with a clear dominant culture (language, religion, values, manners), that tolerates distinct minorities who respect the majority culture. The interaction is stimulating for growth and development.
What we are living through in our generation is the normalization of, and pride in, dysfunction. We see crazed people around us and are unwilling to state that they are crazy and dangerous. Both Europe and America are watching their cultural heritage literally destroyed before their eyes, and we just shake our heads. Political violence continually comes from the left; every attempted or successful assassination of an American president or presidential candidate that I know of was committed by a Democrat, whether the target was Democrat or Republican.
I stated often, on the old Wordpress blog, that leftism is one thing and one thing only: the totalitarian id. Learn this lesson well. Ask yourself how many conservative family members and friends and leaders you are willing to sacrifice to remain on good terms with leftist family members and “friends”. Remember too the other lesson I stated frequently on the old Wordpress blog: they really do want you dead. Proof?

They want us dead. They wants us dead, especially if we are white, Jewish, Christian. We are a free will species. We can either accept that they want us dead, be compliant and let them kill us. OR, we can resist, fight back, strive to stay alive. The choice is ours.
