Britain is increasingly becoming a police state, where 30,000 per year are arrested for online speech.

I know, Steve. It is very upsetting to watch this unfold from America, as we watch the nation that gave birth to our political philosophy sinking under the weight of political correctness. British subjects are arrested for standing and thinking about God: not saying anything aloud, just thinking. British subjects are also arrested for flying the British flag. Nigel Farage and Reform are a step in the right direction. Personally, I support Tommy Robinson.

Your two main sources, Cato and the UN, may be suspect in their ratings. Cato, as you know, is a libertarian think tank, left of center, and the UN, well that's just a mess. I am probably prejudiced, the ratings for the US and Israel should be a little higher. That said, the ratings for the countries seem to be reasonable.
