Thank you for your patience, my friends. I hope to make somewhat regular contributions here (grand essays) and at my original Wordpress blog (details of the day):

Before I began writing tonight, I re-read the introductory essay for my Substack, “The Unified War”. Please read it, if you have not done so already:
I think it aged surprisingly well. The results of the rigged midterm “elections” demonstrate that mainstream Republican leaders are most comfortable losing politely. Therefore, there is no voting our way out of this.
I happen to think that our best candidate for the 2024 presidential election is Governor Ron DeSantis, the most accomplished MAGA chief executive in years. Needless to say, he will not be permitted to win. Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin will see to that. Republicans will feign outrage and disappointment, and move on.
I think often about the tragedy of today’s “patriot”, stuck in the 1980s. He supports organizations whose titles bristle with words like “Liberty” and “Eagle”. He keeps a picture of Ronald Reagan on the wall, meeting perhaps with Phyllis Schlafly, Margaret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, or another departed great. He proudly salutes the flag of a deceased nation, not acknowledging the transhumanist, globalist police state occupying the soil of the former last, best hope of earth.
Today’s America despises that man for his skin color, for his sex, for his religion, for his service, for his work ethic, for his self-control, for his self-reliance, for his kindness and generosity. In the words of Ayn Rand, “They despise the good for being good.”
Arrayed against him is the vast apparatus of a totalitarian monstrosity that Hitler, Stalin, and Mao could only have dreamed of. This monstrosity monitors ALL communication, ALL movement, ALL financial transactions, and happily uses that power to stir up mobs to destroy people’s lives for sport. The crumbles of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence mean nothing to people contemptuous of God and His word. Notice how many “conservative” representatives and senators voted to destroy the meaning of marriage, and put you at personal liability if you do not endorse perversion.
Free men could have a country, New America, if they wanted it. Below are sample maps. The first map shows the 2016 presidential vote by county, except that one or two contiguous counties of one color, completely surrounded by counties of the opposite color, change to that opposite color. The second map shows the 2022 vote by Congressional district. The third map is the result of my analysis of electoral results for the last several decades, and is colored according to the traditional scheme (red = left).
Nostalgic “patriots” look at maps like these and react viscerally. “You can run away, you coward, but I will stay and fight for every inch of the United States! It is my heritage! You know nothing of loyalty! We need to reform our government!” They post comments on conservative blogs that end with meaningful implications, ellipses, and exclamation points…! “People are waking up…! We won’t take it much longer…!” Oh yes you will. “The answer to 1984 is 1776…!”
Does the feckless Liberty Eagle Patriot even know what happened in 1776? Let’s take him back in time to find out. We take him to the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia, at the beginning of July, where some are talking about secession. He addresses the delegates in high dudgeon.
“You, Franklin, Washington, Adams, Jefferson - you can run away, you cowards, but I will stay and fight for every inch of the United Kingdom! It is my heritage! You know nothing of loyalty! We need to reform our government!” I think he would be dragged out of the room and put in the stockade.
The Founding Fathers had no interest in trying to reform the British government, replaying the civil wars of the 17th century. They chose to secede, on territory they controlled, initiating a new government. Read the list of charges in the Declaration of Independence, and tell me our present government is not more tyrannical.
The constitutional, federal, classically liberal, democratic republic called the United States of America, a nation under God, is dead. A fanatical devotion to every inch of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berkeley, Portland, Seattle, and the like, is similar to a patient attached to gangrenous tissue. It will kill him. We need to separate, or else live as serfs. Both sides will be happier after separation.
Well-said, Brother Surak! I'm as ready for the secession movement as I can be. or get. If need be, I will fight for our future, although at my age, I wouldn't expect to survive such a conflict. In my former State, on January 1st of next year, "Gov." Pritzker will initiate cashless bail throughout the State for every crime, except Capital Felony Murder (Murder in the first degree).. God help the people of Illinois.
These attitudes disturb me, because since Vietnam, I have never wanted to pull a trigger on another human being. Despite my tough talk, I am not a killer. However, secession ... without the active participation of the military on our side .... may very well be a fool's errand. Nevertheless, I will do what needs to be done.
I see this and I wonder what God has in store for us. I don't think that any succession would be fruitful without divine assistance. Would those who would want such a new state seek to establish, again a state where Bible is taught and is the basis for governance?
If those who read "Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness" seek righteousness, then perhaps they will also say " Baruch shem kvod malchto " with those who say it now. I think God would show favor to such a group. This would be the direction of mankind that Tanach describes. Not one religion but faith in the God who gave the Torah. Jews, Christians, Noachides and peaceful Thiests living together. Assimilation is what the NWO threatens. HaShem has used bad times to cause people to cleave to Himself.
If we move ourselves towards the divine end (think Isaiah and Zechariah)maybe he won't need to use others to push us there.
It is when we read the story of Joseph and learn God causes bad to work for good. It is also a season of rededication, Chanukah. I think I need to re read these stories and get insight.
