It is rather distressing how much politics has injected itself into religion, and, to a certain extent, how religion has affected politics. The former yields mostly bad results, while the latter is somewhat mixed. The leftist politics has damaged religion, but the far left would prefer to eliminate religion. God is invoked by the left, generally insincerely. On the right, especially in the South, religion is often into politics. This is generally positive as it reinforces respect for/of life and the practice of Biblical ethics/morals. One would think that Jews would be swinging to the right and would welcome some politics in the religion. They mostly stick to the left, where the Jews and the Jewish homeland are not well received, to state it mildly. It is mostly the religious, ultra religious that are on the right (and this seems to hold with Christians). We all should be on God's side.
I am an Independent Manufacturing Process Engineer and Manager. Retired US Army 1SG. Loves God, Country, Family, Army not to mention swimming, scuba, rappelling and motorcycles!
Current Project is developing a Judea-Christian Youth Activity Center in Juneau, can use all the help and advise I can get!
Although my comments regarding the Left (Can’t call them Liberals, perhaps Fascists would be better) or Muslims come from direct experience. The Left is rigidly locked into comically ridiculous positions that any freedom loving person is sure to turn against. Islam, plain ans simple, is inherently evil. End of subject.
I am a strong supporter of Israel for several reasons.
One, modern Israel, they are a young nation is a boiling cauldron of evil Islamist’s. They need our help!
Secondly, Israel is the Holy Land; We as Jews and Christians have an obligation to defend it from evil (Islam).
Third, I have many friends in Israel, most are in the Greater Israel Settlements. These are the people that are threatened the most.
Lastly, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ calls on me to defend Israel. Within my nation my oath to the Constitution means that I will always defend the Jewish citizens threatened by both the Left and Islam. My Oath to the Constitution did not end when I retired from military after 25 years.
The man responsible for this site is a man of true character, a leader and teacher brave enough to do what is right as opposed to what is easy. It is an honor to know him. Surak may well be logical, but he is also a hero in his own way. We must protect people like him and his family as they are the treasures that make our country great!
Am I on the side of God, am I serving my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the best of my limited abilities as a Christian... yes
Are you on the side of God? From my observations and knowledge of your work; you as a practicing Jew are serving God well. You are a "gever".
Is the USA on the side of God? Sadly, the answer has to be no.
But then that is a price we potentially pay to live in a free society, a free nation.
I am quite sure you and I could write a book worth of commentary on this subject, but would it avail us anything? I think not...
That is the price we pay to have a country that embraces freedom. I am sure that our founding fathers did not plan for a majority of our citizens to either eschew Abrahamic Religion, adhere to an evil cult (Islam) or be weak kneed in their faith. Our job, within our faith, is to pull them back to where they are on "God's side".
I do know that I count you as a man who is making a difference for good. That, makes you my friend, a treasure to our country and God!
May the Lord Bless and keep you and your family safe!

Here here, the values that Judaism and Christianity bring are the result of being on God’s side.
Who am I, Dan Dagovitz posting as Scorpian 6…

May God Bless and protect Surak and his family!
My friend, "we" is a tricky word...
