We should reject multiculturalism, a dangerous doctrine that has not been adopted in most of Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Middle East.
You made this statement but I will have to disagree. I agree that it is a dangerous doctrine TO THE UNITED STATES, but Africa, Asia, Latin America, or the Middle East have embraced this concept in order to transplant their culture, good or bad, to our shores. We have fallen for this "hook, line and sinker". We have to change OUR culture to meet THEIR demands for multiculturism even when the people making the demands are beggars asking for our assistance.
If you come to us for our help, asylum or even protection then those asking this should abide by our laws and be absorbed by the more successful culture.
Illegal Aliens are responsible for their own problems as they choose to invade our country and violate our laws. They should never be given a place ahead of law-abiding immigrants.
Scorpian, I think we are singing from the same book, just on different pages... :) My point was that non-Western countries don't believe in multiculturalism, and therefore we should not feel obliged to adopt it. The migrants themselves are just pawns of people in the West who are trying to undermine our own civilization. I doubt the migrants are sophisticated enough to know what multiculturalism is. The shame is ours for not enforcing cultural assimilation.
Musk has been criticised in the UK for his recent comments about muslim rape gangs and the British government’s absolute failure to even begin to address it. However those who criticise him forget that Two Tier Kier and his alleged political opponent, travelled to America to help Kamala lose.
I am flabbergasted that PM Starmer is talking about ending the US-UK security alliance over this row. He seems to be offended that there are some Americans who don't like British girls getting raped. I told Mrs. Surak that in Britain and elsewhere in Europe, gang rape of children is not a crime; rather the new crime is objecting to rape.
As for Nigel Farage, I am not sure what to think. You can't achieve anything if you aren't in power, and Farage has smoothly maneuvered Reform into a powerful party. He understandably doesn't want to scare off potential voters by appearing to be on the same side as the unfairly demonized Tommy Robinson. But of what use is power if it is not used? And what could be more important than preventing the rape of Britain's children?
I have reached the point where I am non-affiliated. I cannot, in good conscious, support either political party as a staunch support. Instead, I select case by case, issue by issue. Sadly, the Left (Cannot be called Liberals anymore), has gone completely insane with policies that offend all but the craziest voter.
I now identify as a disgruntled Conservative; one that holds his nose and votes "Republican" (Generally, or Libertarian). Actually, I have hope that President Trump, in his third term, will accomplish some good.
A sad state of affairs for a 26-year veteran of the US Army. My knowledge of Muslims and Islam as a whole come from observation. I know who the enemies of our nation, and Humanity, are...
I will repeat this again, not out of hate but the desire for people to understand the truth!
The Muslims have exposed their cult as being cruel and vicious in its teachings...
It takes people and converts them to drooling, rabid animals. Islam teaches evil to its children from the youngest age and ALWAYS is preparing for the next war of absorption.
Islam is evil to its rotten core; we cannot not stop until it is removed from the face of the earth!
You make good points, some of which I want to consider further.
As I learned after writing my novel "Good Intentions," which libertarians tend to like a lot, there's a whole spectrum of libertarians from anarchists to conservatarians (see the book by Charles Cooke at https://www.amazon.com/Conservatarian-Manifesto-Libertarians-Conservatives-Rights/dp/0804139725). Within that spectrum, some believe in removing national borders because "more people means more productivity resulting in a more successful nation and all its inhabitants." I pointed out to him at least one flaw in his thinking. Statistics show that new immigrants vote overwhelmingly Democrat, with which he concurred, and thus have the ability to wreck our nation before one or two generations later start voting Republican.
Also, I believe Musk has no political philosophy other than selfishness. He will promote whatever ideology makes him and his companies richer. Right now, that generally means conservatarianism, which is good, but he used to be in bed with the Democrats for their government handouts to his companies to save us from climate change.
Bob's book is a good story and it is well written. I enjoyed it and warmly recommend it. The reader who is familiar with classic dystopias will enjoy finding little buried treasures throughout the text.
Since, I think most rational people can see, globalism does not work. It has cost the US dearly. We went from a manufacturing economy (i.e., making things) to a service economy (how much service to we need?). Now, we make very little and are even dependent on our enemy for our medicine. Musk is a globalist. He will go anywhere he can to make some money, but he especially likes the US because much of income comes from our tax dollars and government rebates. Elan is also a fixer and he can have much entertainment fixing our government. Of course, most of what he and Vivek will propose will never come to pass. Sadly, I am not much more optimistic about RFK, Jr.'s likelihood of MAHA. The globalist corporation still hold too much influence. We need more Steve Bannons shouting about America First.

Absolutely!

I understand what you are saying about power, and I maybe naive but politics shouldn’t be about power, these people should be representing US.
I think the party system should be banned and we should vote for the individual who represents our interests.
I was planning to join the Reform Party despite everything but the leaders attacking Tommy Robinson as if he were a criminal has stopped me.

You are too modest to link your own book, so I will do it for you: https://www.amazon.com/Good-Intentions-Bob-Zeidman/dp/0970227620/
