Well-said, Brother Surak! I'm as ready for the secession movement as I can be. or get. If need be, I will fight for our future, although at my age, I wouldn't expect to survive such a conflict. In my former State, on January 1st of next year, "Gov." Pritzker will initiate cashless bail throughout the State for every crime, except Capital Felony Murder (Murder in the first degree).. God help the people of Illinois.
These attitudes disturb me, because since Vietnam, I have never wanted to pull a trigger on another human being. Despite my tough talk, I am not a killer. However, secession ... without the active participation of the military on our side .... may very well be a fool's errand. Nevertheless, I will do what needs to be done.
Oh brother, brother! It's good to be back and to be on the same side as you!
I have a forlorn hope that this separation would be appealing to both sides. They hate having us living among them, too.
My idea is this. We encourage them to go their own way. Take most of the big cities and their nearest suburbs and start afresh. No pesky freedoms of speech or religion; no due process; no right to life; no fossil fuels; celebration of racial antagonism, abortion, same-sex marriage, and transgenderism; enforced vaccinations and lockdowns.
Seriously, my friend, think of it. In one or two generations, we rescue the handful of starving survivors of this leftist nightmare, and begin the recovery of Western civilization.
Coming back down to earth - there is no reason for them to agree to this when they are already winning the culture war nationwide and cheating with impunity.
I don't know how we move on from here. I keep wishing for a group of prominent leaders with nationwide visibility to call for secession. It isn't going to happen because of a few grumpy people online. All of our prominent leaders are still invested in the current system.
Until they take America's decline and demise seriously, all we can do is prepare, like Isaac Asimov's Foundation, to preserve the best of civilization during the coming dark ages.
I see this and I wonder what God has in store for us. I don't think that any succession would be fruitful without divine assistance. Would those who would want such a new state seek to establish, again a state where Bible is taught and is the basis for governance?
If those who read "Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness" seek righteousness, then perhaps they will also say " Baruch shem kvod malchto " with those who say it now. I think God would show favor to such a group. This would be the direction of mankind that Tanach describes. Not one religion but faith in the God who gave the Torah. Jews, Christians, Noachides and peaceful Thiests living together. Assimilation is what the NWO threatens. HaShem has used bad times to cause people to cleave to Himself.
If we move ourselves towards the divine end (think Isaiah and Zechariah)maybe he won't need to use others to push us there.
It is when we read the story of Joseph and learn God causes bad to work for good. It is also a season of rededication, Chanukah. I think I need to re read these stories and get insight.
